Accessibility in Sitevision
Who is welcome to your site? How you write your contents and build your site affects the answer. For your content to be accessible to everyone, it is important to follow the directives on accessibility.
Accessibility from day one
Accessibility has been part of Sitevision’s DNA from day one. For simplicity, there are a number of built-in functions and accessibility in everything from training courses to how the modules are built.
Accessibility check
Sitevision has a built-in accessibility control that alerts you to simple errors when you publish a page. This may involve heading levels, alt texts and click-here links.
Validation check
The code behind your website or intranet is at least as important as the content on the pages. Sitevision validation checks warn of errors in codes and scripts based on the document type you are using. Validation is based on WC3’s tools.
Language and structure of the site
In order to make it easier for screen readers and other aids, it is standard in Sitevision to specify the language and element types of the content in the code.
