The results of dSam are presented – and Sitevision is there

eSam will present results from the dSam project with a focus on concrete tips and experiences on selecting and purchasing legal and suitable collaboration tools. Some public actors are also present to share the challenges.

Earlier this year, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) conducted a study within the framework of the cooperation of the European Data Protection Board. Seven government agencies that process large amounts of personal data participated in the survey.
Stina Almström, lawyer at IMY, who produced the Swedish report, says:
– All Swedish authorities participating in the survey state that it is a challenge to find cloud services that are compatible with the data protection regulations. It can often be difficult to negotiate with cloud service providers and thus difficult to influence the design or conditions for the use of the cloud services.

A safe choice
Sitevision closely follows eSam’s reporting to be an obvious alternative to US cloud services and a natural collaboration platform for the recommended products. There are already ready-made integrations with GDPR-safe products recommended by dSam, and more are in the pipeline.
