E-course - E:CSWD, Certified Sitevision Website Developer

This is an e-learning course that you complete at your own pace. You have three months to finish it. As a web developer, you’ll gain the knowledge you need to plan, develop, and publish a responsive website in Sitevision. We’ll also talk about CSS, decorations, and personalization. The training includes a certification assignment.

The E:CSWD – Template Certification course is primarily aimed at Sitevision partners. It’s offered in three versions: this e-course, a two-day classroom course in Örebro, or an online course with four sessions over a two-week period.

The course covers the entire process — from planning templates, to building them, and finally publishing the entire website. We start by reviewing key concepts in template development in Sitevision, as well as important site settings such as themes, style sheets, site colors, and metadata. You’ll also learn how to build responsive templates.

The training also covers how to modify templates (adding modules and making visual adjustments), a short introduction to CSS, common features like news feeds, tags, and personalization through custom views.

To become certified, you’ll complete the course by creating your own set of templates, which will then be reviewed and approved by the instructor.

PREREQUISITES:

You’re expected to have completed the Basic Course or have equivalent experience (for example, through work in Sitevision) and possess some developer competence.

If you haven’t taken the Basic Course provided by Sitevision, you must first complete the e-learning course “Introduction to Sitevision”, which is included and should be finished before the training starts.
